Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corporation (hereinafter, \u201cTMEIC\u201d; President & CEO Masahiko Yamawaki) announced today that its Indian Group company, TMEIC Industrial Systems India Private Limited (TMEIC India) received a letter of appreciation from Kirloskar Toyota Textile Machinery Pvt. Ltd. (KTTM; Managing Director Toshihiko Shimizu), which is an Indian subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation. TMEIC India was currently recognized for the performance of its uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices.<\/p>\n
On August 20, 2018, TMEIC India delivered on time four units of 400kVA UPS devices to the KTTM factory in Bengaluru. The letter of appreciation was thereby received as a result of fulfilling the required specifications and realizing high performance since the installation.<\/p>\n
At the presentation ceremony, Managing Director Shimizu of KTTM stated: \u201cWe were initially using generators rather than a commercial power supply for key machines from a power quality perspective. The introduction of UPS devices enabled power supply from a commercial power supply, which in turn reduced power-related costs and realized return on investment within only one year. Furthermore, not only have we adopted the devices for key machines, we also covered the entire factory, which resulted in eliminating flickering lights that were frequently occurring inside the building. We are truly satisfied with the results.\u201d \u00a0At the same time, TMEIC\u2019s Executive Officer and Vice President Akira Kawaguchi of the Power Electronics Systems Division expressed his words of appreciation, stating: \u201cWe are very pleased and honored that the introduction of TMEIC\u2019s UPS devices have contributed to the production activities of KTTM. We hope to continuously support KTTM through providing services such as maintenance service going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
In order to stabilize power sources of main facilities, TMEIC will continue to contribute to customers\u2019 business operations by providing highly reliable, high-efficiency UPS devices to industrial and other rapidly expanding customers such as data centers. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
