ROANOKE, Va. (July 10, 2017)
– TMEIC Power Electronics Products Corporation was recently awarded an expansion of scope of its ISO 9001 certification to include the production of photovoltaic inverters at its manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. This certification covers quality control of the manufacturing, similar to the certification of TMEIC’s plants in Japan. The facility was opened in 2014 and began manufacturing Solar Ware
®
photovoltaic inverters in Fall 2016.

The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certificate covers the design, manufacture, test, sales and service of photovoltaic inverters, specifically the Solar Ware
®
inverters. Periodic audits will be conducted by ABS Quality Evaluations of Houston to ensure conformance with ISO requirements.
