TMEIC Corporation (President & CEO Akira Kawaguchi; hereinafter, “TMEIC” or “the Company”) received the Company of the Year Award in the Industrial Carbon-Neutral Solutions category in March 2025 from Frost & Sullivan, a leading U.S.-based consulting firm headquartered in California.
Frost & Sullivan bestows Best Practices Awards annually to companies that have achieved outstanding performance in their respective industries based on a rigorous analytical process. TMEIC has been honored with the most prestigious award, the Company of the Year Award. This marks the eighth time TMEIC has received the award, with the first recognition in 2015.
This award recognizes TMEIC’s contributions in the renewable energy sector, alongside the development and introduction of new solutions utilizing core power electronics technologies, such as self-commutated rectifiers for hydrogen production, the new power supply system “CleanArc” for steelmaking arc furnaces and onshore power supply systems for ports. These efforts have positioned TMEIC at the forefront of the decarbonization and electrification markets in the industrial sector.
Additionally, the promotion of the “Growth 20” growth strategy, which aligns with market trends such as carbon neutrality and digital transformation, and its success in driving business expansion were also key factors in securing this award.
Comments by Executive Officer and Vice President Masayuki Tobita, Power Electronics Systems Division:
“We are extremely pleased to receive this award for the eighth time. TMEIC is advancing solutions for the realization of a carbon-neutral society by bringing together core technologies, including power electronics. This fiscal year, we are set to release many new products, and we will continue to contribute to decarbonization and enhance customer experiences.”
