Expanding Business in Southeast Asia and Strengthening Local Customer Support

TMEIC Corporation (President & CEO Akira Kawaguchi; hereinafter, “TMEIC” or “the Company”) has established a sales and engineering company, TMEIC Asia (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, as a subsidiary of TMEIC Asia Pte. Ltd., headquartered in Singapore, and will commence operations in October.

Through TMEIC Asia and other Group companies, TMEIC supplies a wide range of electrical and system products to Vietnam’s manufacturing industry and renewable energy market. Vietnam is expected to achieve some of the highest economic growth in Southeast Asia, and infrastructure development, including renewable energy, is progressing in line with the country’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. Accordingly, Vietnam is positioned as a key market for TMEIC’s business expansion in the region.

With the establishment of the new company, TMEIC will strengthen its market-focused sales and engineering structure and accelerate business expansion in the Vietnamese market.
